Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Frost

Leaves of corn plants damaged by frost may be streaked, brown, shriveled, and killed.

Solutions

Frost damage may occur most commonly on soils with high organic content. Plant in well-drained soils and avoid low-lying areas.
