Seasonal development
and life cycle—Fuller rose beetle
Fuller rose beetle adults lay their tiny eggs in organic
matter on the soil or on branches, leaves, or fruit. The
emerging larvae enter the soil and feed on roots for 6 to
10 months. Most adults emerge between June and November,
but a few can emerge from pupae during each month of the
year. Adults feed on foliage or blossoms. |
