Pear rust—Gymnosporangium
libocedri
Fruit are distorted. Trees infected with rust have dry
reddish, yellowish, or orange spore masses or pustules primarily on the fruit.
Solutions
Avoid overhead sprinklers, as rust spores are spread by wind and splashing water. Dispose of infected
fruit, leaves, and shoots as soon as symptoms appear. |
