How to Manage Pests

Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Thinning

Walnuts usually have more flowers than they can successfully carry. They will normally drop many of the flowers and small fruit early in the season. Fruit thinning by hand is not required because the size of the fruit is not improved by thinning.
