UC IPM Competitive Research Grants Program—Important Announcement

UC IPM does not expect to issue a request for new proposals for 2009-10 funding.

UC IPM was scheduled to release a request for new proposals in fall 2008, for 2009-10 funding, but we have been instructed by UC ANR to suspend any new RFPs. Flexibility in our commitments will help UC IPM and ANR respond to the declining state budget situation and uncertain future of UC funding levels.

Over the past five years, the UC IPM program has had to reduce funding for the competitive research grants program by about half. Until this suspension, our expectation was to issue a call for new proposals every other year instead of every year.
